Gies ranked No. 7 undergraduate public business school

Gies College of Business is once again ranked as a Top 10 public undergraduate business program, according to the latest rankings released by US News & World Report. Gies Business was ranked No. 7 among public undergraduate business programs and No. 14 overall. US News & World Report asks deans and senior faculty members to rate the academic quality of undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Gies was one of the first schools to integrate data analytics through the undergraduate curriculum, and this fall the College launched the largest experiential learning course in the nation. B301: Business in Action is a required course for all Gies juniors, where they gain valuable experience working on real client projects. With more than 800 students across 11 sections completing more than 150 client projects, B301 is unmatched when it comes to quality and scale of experiential learning.

The College also recently launched the Disruption Lab, a first-of-its-kind program where interdisciplinary teams of students collaborate on a project focused on an emerging technology, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, or blockchain. The students are able to deeply explore technology innovations of interest to them, while also delivering a viable product or solution that could help businesses
