August and December 2025 graduates are eligible to participate in the December Gies Convocation Ceremonies.
Receiving your degree
You must declare your intent to graduate with Gies College of Business. This is normally done at the same time you register for your final semester of classes through the student registration system. If you do not complete this step, your name will not appear on the Pending Degree List, you will not receive information regarding the Graduation Ceremonies, and the date of your degree award and diploma could be delayed.
- If you have academic-related eligibility questions, undergraduate candidates should contact the Office of Undergraduate Affairs at undergrads@business.illinois.edu or 217-333-2740.
- Master’s, MBA, and PhD candidates should contact their respective degree program office with questions.
