An expert in environmental economics, Tatyana Deryugina researches climate change, natural disasters, and public policy. Deryugina holds a PhD from MIT and frequently engages with policymakers and media to inform evidence-based approaches to environmental and economic resilience.

David Molitor, Associate Professor of Finance, Director of Health Care Research Initiative
Wildfire Smoke, Workplace Wellness Programs, Environmental Impact on Health
David Molitor’s research explores how location and the environment shape health and health care delivery in the US. He is a Principal Investigator of the Illinois Workplace Wellness Study, a large-scale field experiment of workplace wellness conducted at the University of Illinois. His research has been published in leading academic journals and has been covered by media outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

Ujjal Mukherjee, Associate Professor of Business Administration
Healthcare Management, Healthcare Delivery, Technology adoption and mediation in healthcare.
Ujjal Mukherjee researches healthcare operations, supply chain analytics, and empirical methods to predict product failures (e.g. medical devices & pharmaceuticals), and teaches business analytics and healthcare analytics. His scholarly work focuses on healthcare delivery, including developing predictive frameworks for chronic disease management, and analyzing product recalls.
