Take full advantage of financial assistance
Applicants to the PhD Program in Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are automatically considered for financial aid. Successful applicants receive competitive financial aid packages. Moreover, PhD students in good standing generally continue to receive financial support throughout the program. Before accepting an offer of admission, every prospective PhD student will receive a detailed description of the financial aid the department is able to provide.
In general, financial assistance comes in several forms:
- First, assistantships—usually included in an offer of admission—include waivers of tuition and most service fees. If admitted, your letter of acceptance will specify the nature of your assistantship and/or fellowship.
- Second, additional awards may be offered for exceptional candidates.
- Loans and other forms of assistance are often available through the Office of Financial Aid.
