University and Gies Business Visit Options

We offer on-campus and virtual visit programs for prospective first-year and off-campus transfer students. High school seniors who were admitted into another major/program on campus and current UIUC students can visit our intercollegiate transfer (ICT) information page to learn more about the transfer process.

First-Year Student Visits

For first-year students, we recommend attending a morning University Admissions presentation and campus tour, and then joining us for a Gies information session in our facilities in the afternoon. If you plan to attend a University Admissions presentation and campus tour (Illinois Experience and Campus Tour), please note that you'll need a separate registration. Explore in-person visit options by date.

Throughout summer 2024, our Gies Business meeting will be at 2:00 pm on most Mondays and Fridays. We encourage visitors to register for a 10:00 am visit with University Admissions (Illinois Experience and Campus Tour).

Starting September 3, we will host Gies Business information sessions most Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays, at 2:00 pm, and guests should register for the 10:00 am visit with University Admissions.
