Teaching Interests

Professor Wright has taught in the fields of Securities Regulation, International Business Transactions, Business Law and Advanced Business Law. In the Spring of 2019, she will teach Legal Issues in Entrepreneurship.

Research Interests

Having been a staff member at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C., Professor Wright's research activities include exempt transactions under the Securities Act of 1933 and recent changes involving equity crowdfunding.

Current Courses

  • The Legal Environment of Bus (BADM 300) Introduction to law and the legal system, litigation, contracts, business organizations, intellectual property, employment law and governmental regulation of business.
  • Corporate & Commercial Law (BADM 403) Advanced discussion of corporate and commercial law, including topics tested on the CPA exam: agency, contracts, debtor-creditor relationships, governmental regulation of business and business organizations. 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours.
