T-Mobile joins The Hoeft Technology & Management Program as a corporate affiliate

The Hoeft Technology & Management Program welcomes T-Mobile as a corporate affiliate of the program. T-Mobile is leading the way in 5G with America’s first and largest 5G network in addition to an advanced 4G LTE network, offering reliable connectivity for all and using their network for good.

The Hoeft Technology & Management (T&M) Program is a joint university minor within Gies College of Business and The Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois. Creating a bridge between traditional engineering disciplines and business education, the program offers a unique curriculum leading to a university minor in technology and management.

“At T-Mobile we are customer obsessed and this requires a unique blend of technology and business acumen to ensure new products continue to enhance the customer experience and the Hoeft Technology & Management Program is developing future leaders with a foundational understanding of how technology and business decisions intersect,” said Nelly Pitocco, VP T-Mobile for Business Solution Engineering and Innovation. “We are proud to play a role in the development of the diverse talent participating in the T&M Program.”

T-Mobile joins a selective list of corporate affiliates including Abbott, Anheuser-Busch, Boeing, bp, Caterpillar, John Deere, Motorola Solutions, and Synchrony. Corporate affiliates provide strategic advice and guidance regarding relevance of the curriculum, participate in extra-curricular activities, sponsor capstone projects, and provide important financial support to the Program. They also have a unique platform for actively engaging with students and faculty of the T&M Program and participating in its development and strategic direction.

“We are pleased to have T-Mobile join The Hoeft Technology & Management Program as a corporate affiliate,” said John Quarton, director of the T&M Program. “T-Mobile is a company looking ahead to the next innovation to enhance its products, advance its business, and benefit its customers. The T&M Program develops future leaders equipped to solve problems in unique ways, just as T-Mobile seeks to disrupt the wireless industry with unique approaches.”
