Accounting alumnus Duane DesParte delivers speech on audit quality

Gies College of Business alumnus Duane DesParte (ACCY ’85) returned to campus on September 12, 2019 for the Accountancy Lyceum Series. DesParte is currently a board member for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), which was established by Congress to oversee the audits of public companies. DesParte’s speech “Improving Audit Quality through a Renewed Focus on Quality Control” was posted on the PCAOB website.
