Earn CPE Credits with Gies Online Programs

We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation as a Public Accountant CPE Sponsor. CPAs who are licensed in Illinois and any states who have reciprocal agreements are eligible to earn CPE credits with our courses. Our flexible offerings provide CPE credit (hours of credit vary by course). Upon completion of the course, you can request CPE credit by submitting this online form.

At the University of Illinois, we make the process of earning CPE credits easy and affordable. We offer many different types of courses in which you can earn CPE Credits.

Non-credit certificates

You can earn CPE credits through our non-credit certificates. In these programs, you will engage in practical skills-based learning that will provide you new perspectives through real-world scenarios.

Self-study courses through Coursera

CPE credits are available for those who attend our self-study courses available online on Coursera. These flexible, self-paced courses are offered multiple times throughout the year and do not have a live facilitator. Live for-credit courses

Live for-credit courses include and expand upon the self-study component found on Coursera. Any credit earned from these courses can be applied in the future to the Online Master of Science in Accountancy, pending admission to the program. To register for live for-credit courses, please visit our non-degree registration page.
