Speaker Information: Professors Osly Flores and Rachel Roegman
All are invited to this event to hear two Department of Education Policy, Organization & Leadership faculty members share about their recent work within educational leadership.
Osly Flores will discuss his book, Race-Conscious Caring in Educational Leadership: A Narrative Ethics, which describes a model for educational leadership ethics that provides a critical, reflective vision of what education can be for all children in K–12 schools. Rachel Roegman will talk about her newly released book, K-12 Schools and Public Health Partnerships: Strategies for Navigating a Crisis with Trust, Equity, and Communication, which focuses on reopening schools during the pandemic.
Additionally, College of Education Dean Chrystalla Mouza will give introductory remarks at this community-focused event.
