Lena Pieper, instructor of accountancy, joined Gies after completing a PhD from Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands. Lena spent time at Gies as a visiting PhD student in Spring 2022, and she brings research experience in auditing, leadership, and more.

Cagri Haksoz brings 20 years of faculty experience in the UK, Turkey, India, Germany, and the US. His PhD is in operations management from NYU, and he teaches business analytics and supply chain.
