Student Organizations

Get involved and get ahead

As a Gies Business student, you have exceptional opportunities to get involved and get ahead through the wide variety of student organizations across the College and across campus. You have opportunities to explore your interests, expand your education, assume leadership roles, and build relationships. Plus, you’ll have fun, too. With more than 1,000 student organizations across campus, you are sure to find one that matches your interests. And if you don’t, you’ll find the support to start your own.

Council of Presidents

The Council of Presidents is an alliance of student organizations affiliated with Gies Business that give students an opportunity to extend their business education beyond the classroom and into the real world.

Business Clubs and Organizations

In addition to the Council of Presidents, there are many business-related clubs and organizations that focus on academics, professionalism, and community service—all of which adds to your experience as a business student.

Illinois Leadership Center

The university provides a unique opportunity for all students to hone skills and prepare for the future through the Illinois Leadership Center on campus. As a Gies Business student, it’s another resource that adds to your Illinois experience and readies your to lead.
