Rising loss trends from natural disasters are a fact. Dealing with the realities of more extreme disasters demands innovation and collaboration. This symposium will lay the foundation for research conducted on climate risk across the University of Illinois campus.
Researchers from across the University will discuss recent works regarding climate risks, while insurance industry professionals will discuss how climate risks affect current business practices and what the future of insurance may hold. Leading climate risk academics from other institutions are also invited.
