Sad News About Huseyin Leblebici

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Friends: It is with a heavy heart that I write to share the sad news Professor Huseyin Leblebici passed away today. Huseyin served with great distinction on our faculty for thirty-eight years, after earning both his MBA and his PhD from Illinois.

He was one of our most highly regarded scholars, most effective teachers, and most dedicated servants. Huseyin served as Head of the Department of Business Administration for ten years. He was the Director of the Office of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship from 1997-2003. He has continued to mentor students and take leadership roles in the field, including starting a journal, up to the present. We will all remember Huseyin’s kindness, dedication to the College of Business, and devotion to his students and Illinois family. Details regarding memorial services are below. Jeffrey R.
