Five students in the College's Masters of Science in Finance program came in third place in the CFA Society - Chicago's CFA Institute Research Challenge. The team competed against more than 3,700 students from 825 universities.
The team members include Vanditha Mysore Ravindranath, Tanvi Rotkar, Zulay Andrea Sosa Bazante, Siwei Li, and Ning Wang. Professor Kevin Waspi served as the team's mentor during the competition.
The team has opted to donate its trophy to the MSF department. "We believe the accomplishment belongs to the department," says Ning Wang on behalf of the group. "We would not have had such an opportunity without the department's efforts."MSF Students Finish 3rd in CFA Chicago Case Competition
