Real Estate Investment (FIN 445) An approach to the evaluation of real estate investment opportunities. Begins with the identification of the investor's goals and ends with an investment decision. Considers legal, physical, locational, and financial constraint, aggregate real estate and financial markets, tax considerations and investment criteria.

Real Estate Investment (FIN 545) Real estate accounts for one-third of the world's capital assets. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of real estate valuation, cycles, markets, investments, and decision-making. The bulk of the course covers income-producing commercial property, although we will also discuss residential housing. This course provides a unified finance based framework to answer real estate investment decision making problems in the real world.
