Melanie B. Wiscount is an Associate Learning Designer in the Learning and Teaching Department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business, where she partners with faculty to design and redesign online and blended courses grounded in evidence-based practice. Wiscount is also a graduate-level online adjunct educator, teaching master's courses at Wilkes University's School of Education and a School of Business and Global Innovation Board (SBGI) member at Marywood University. A nationally recognized educator, she received the 2015 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching from former U.S. President Barack Obama.
