Current Courses

  • Business Intelligence (BADM 453) This advanced course examines recent developments in information technology for managerial decision support with an emphasis on Internet-based and mobile information technologies. Real-world cases will be used to discuss the application of these technologies to management information systems.

  • Social Media Strategy (BADM 562) Managers in firms today must be equipped to deal with the new reality of a socially connected society. In this course, students will improve their analytical capabilities and understanding of the opportunities and challenges that social media, global collaboration and new ways of engaging customers pose for the firm. An emphasis will be placed on managerial decision making in the context of the social media phenomenon.

  • Role of User-Generated Content (BADM 590) Special topics in the general area of business. Topics are selected by the instructor at the beginning of each term.
