Karen Donohue, SCM Conference 2025

Karen is the W.P. Carey Distinguished Chair and Professor of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University, where she directs the newly established Center for Responsible Supply Chain Management. Her research explores ways to synchronize manufacturing, inventory, and distribution decisions to improve environmental and social outcomes across supply chains. She applies a diverse set of methodologies, from stochastic modeling to behavioral experiments, often collaborating with industry partners such as 3M, Best Buy, and Medtronic. Her work has received support from federal agencies, including the USDA and NSF. Karen holds a BA in mathematics and economics from St. Olaf College and earned her MS and PhD in industrial engineering and management science from Northwestern University. Before joining ASU, she held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jury Gualandris

Associate Professor and Faculty Director, Ivey Business School, Western University

Jury Gualandris, SCMC 2025

Jury is passionate about supply chains as complex systems of collective organizing. From a theoretical perspective, his research focuses on how organizations within complex supply chains interact to enhance both individual and collective ecological performance. From an empirical perspective, Jury's work aims to understand how transparency regarding ecological risks and impacts in global supply chains can be improved and, more recently, to catalyze the transition toward more circular and regenerative agri-food systems.
