Margaret Evans comes to Gies as an instructor in the Department of Accountancy after graduating from the iMSA program in 2019. Margaret is assisting with ACCY 501 & ACCY 502 in the iMSA program and teaching ACCY 501 for MSF students.

Ed Rogowski joined Gies this fall as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Accountancy. Ed is a Gies alumnus who is a CPA and began his career in 1986 at Arthur Andersen and has been the chief audit executive reporting to audit committees at three Fortune 500 companies, including United Airlines.

Andy Dahle joined Gies this fall as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy. A Gies alumnus, Dahle retired from PwC after a successful career as a professional services partner in the auditing and risk assurance space.

Danielle Green joined Gies this fall as a teaching associate professor in the Department of Accountancy. Danielle holds a PhD in accounting from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in higher education administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Andrea Rozario joins Gies this fall as an assistant professor in the Department of Accountancy. Andrea’s research focuses on the effects of technology on accounting and auditing outcomes, and the application of technologies to accounting and auditing to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Erik Beardsley joined Gies this fall after six years at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Erik’s research focuses on taxation, the intersection of tax and financial reporting, the effects of non-audit services on audit quality, and executive incentives.

Jenny Ulla joined Gies this fall as an assistant professor in the Department of Accountancy. Her research uses experimental methods to examine issues related to judgment and decision making in audit and financial reporting settings.

Two PhD students in the Gies Department of Accountancy have been award 2021-22 AICPA Minority Doctoral Student Fellowships. Jessica Thornton and Isaac Yamoah are among the short list of 25 fellowships granted nationwide.
